The Workers of England Union are delighted to be able to report that the Union has won £25,000 damages for a member of the Union who suffered anti-English discrimination.
The Workers of England Union brought a case on behalf of a member of the Union whose contract was abruptly terminated despite what was agreed to have his excellent standard of work! The case, in the Middlesbrough Employment Tribunal, was brought on the basis of illegal discrimination contrary to the Equalities Act 2010, both as regards anti-English “National Origin/National Identity” discrimination and also “system of philosophical belief” discrimination against him as an individual who has actively campaigned for a fair deal for England.
Alan England, the Workers of England North East General Secretary had conduct of the case, said:-
“I am delighted that the Workers of England Union were able to assist our member in getting justice. We have received substantial compensation because of their anti-English discrimination against a member of our Union.
The Workers of England Union are committed to fighting discrimination in the work places of England on behalf of our members and no employers should think themselves safe in victimising a member of the Workers of England Union! This case is another win in our already impressive tally of wins on behalf of our members.”
